Position Overview:
This Tech will be working on an autonomous vehicle project. We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to join our Data Center Operations team. The Test Technician will be responsible for supporting the build and maintenance of custom machines crucial for software simulation, enabling Hardware-in-the-Loop testing of software builds, and ensuring the smooth operation of our test infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and track various configurations of test platforms for vehicle simulation and software testing.
• Assemble custom hardware for Hardware-in-the-Loop testing of software builds.
• Integrate network and vehicle system components in server racks.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair test hardware/equipment.
• Build cable harnesses based on diagrams/drawings.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for parts receiving, installs, upgrades, and decommissioning projects.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Create and track tickets within a ticketing system to address problems, incidents, and changes of hardware, and provide details of work performed.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated ability to use general shop, automotive, and diagnostic tools (DMM, Oscilloscope, etc.).
• Experience with building, troubleshooting, and diagnosing computers, Arduino side projects, etc.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to lift 25-30 pound boxes and perform tasks requiring crawling/bending.
• Working knowledge of computer and networking hardware.
• Ability to work with Google suite, Microsoft Office, JIRA, Confluence, or similar programs.
• Experience with Linux-based systems and running scripts (preferred).
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Bonus Qualification).

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $43.00 per hour
